Dempsey’s has long been a fan favorite at Camden Yards. The brewpub was founded by former Orioles catcher and World Series Champion Rick Dempsey and is located inside Camden Yards. However, to drink and dine at Dempsey’s you will need a ticket for entry to the stadium. But, if you plan to attend the game it’s a perfect spot to grab a bite, have drinks, or meet with friends before the game. Dempsey’s has over 40 beers to choose from, including a wide variety local and regional brews. They also offer cocktails wine. The food at Dempsey’s is some of the best in the park. They have typical pub fare and offer Maryland staples such as crab cakes and Maryland crab soup. While you’re in Oriole Park at Camden Yards stop by Dempsey’s for a drink or stay for a meal.
Located just a stone’s throw away from the stadium on Washington Blvd, Pickles Pub is a right of passage prior to a game at Camden Yards. They offer a great food selection ranging from pickle specialties to pizza to crabby sandwiches and the food is quick with a great price tag. Alewife is a few blocks north of Camden Yards on Eutaw Street and is the go-to place for beer aficionados, game day or not. They have over 50 beers to choose from, both bottles and draught. They also carry a nice variety of local draught beers, to support your state prior to supporting your team. They also carry specialty cocktails and wines. While the libation section at alewife will have a choice or three for just about anyone, it is their menu that makes Alewife perfect for a game day meal. While the food can be on the pricier side, you get what you pay for, and your taste buds will thank you later. From duck fat fried wings to a schnitzelwich-schnitzel on a sandwich-to a generous portion of fish and chips the carefully crafted food paired with your favorite drink will make any game at Camden Yards one of the best.
