The First Ever Bacon Jam at Power Plant Live, November 11
Power Plant Live will be hosting the first ever Bacon Jam. Come out November 11 and enjoy bacon cocktails, dishes, games and jam bands.
More than a dozen of the city’s best food vendors and trucks will be at the first Bacon Jam at Power Plant Live. Bacon dishes of all kinds will be served, while local bands provide the musical entertainment as guests participate in games and celebrate all things bacon. The event will also feature a cocktail competition in which local bartenders will create bacon-flavored cocktails.
General Admission is only $10, while other packages include food and/or drinks. “Swiggin’ Pig” tickets are $35 and includes four free drinks; “Porky Pig” tickets are $25 and gets you five food vouchers. Combo packages priced at $45 include three food vouchers and three drink tickets. VIP packages stocked with extras like unlimited Bacon Blood Mary’s and Mimosas, a BBQ buffet,VIP area access and souvenir T-Shirt are available for $65. While the event caters more towards music fans, the event is family-friendly, so kids 12 and under are free.

Guests can expect to see plenty of food vendors, some of which include Charm City Pizza, Meatcrafters, Tin Roof, Dessert Fantasies, The Outpost American Tavern, The Point in Fells, Deddle’s Mini Donuts, Mex Baltimore, and Leinenkugel’s Beer Garden.
Local soul, funk, and blues band Bond & Bentley are scheduled to perform. The band has been together since 2006 and is known for blending several genres. Lately, the band has slowly gravitated towards a jam band style and sound, which should mesh well with the other two bands scheduled thus far — including the Troll Tribe Band and the Joey Harkum Full Band.
