The Crooked Crab Brewery has announced that its brewery and taproom will open later this month!
If you appreciate the art of creating, tasting, and producing crafted beer, then you won’t want to miss your chance to sample products at Anne Arundel County’s newest brew facility. The Maryland-based Crooked Crab Brewing Company’s Odenton Brewery will open its doors at the company’s noon grand opening event, February 17.
The event will unveil six new craft beers, which range from an English Pale Ale to a Coffee Stout and IPA’s, as well as insight into the craft beer brewing process and Crooked Crab’s future plans.
The new brew facility features a 2,200-square-foot tap room where visitors can enjoy Crooked Crab drafts made in the on-site production facility, which currently is the company’s one and only location of any kind.
Visitors will have the chance to try the Flat Chance Food truck, which is known for serving up warm flat bread sandwiches. Unique items such as Philly Cheese Steak Egg Rolls and Flat Chance’s signature sandwich the “Crazy Cuban” couldn’t be a more perfect complement to a few pints of craft beer, or vice versa.
Those who can’t make it to the gran opening will be able to visit during normal weekend business hours, from noon until 10 p.m. on Saturdays and noon until 6 p.m. on Sundays.
Crooked Crab will only be producing kegs for wholesale initially, meaning that bottled beer will not yet be sold in stores — certain local bars and restaurants should have the company’s products on tap in the very near future, though.
